Anti-Cuomo Protest in Holbrook
HOLBROOK - Parents, educators and school administrators lined up along Main Street in Holbrook to protest what they say are Gov. Andrew Cuomo's failed education policies.
The governor visited Suffolk County Monday evening for a political fundraiser. Opponents of the controversial Common Core curriculum say they used it as a chance to send a clear message to Cuomo.
The crowd of protesters awaited the governor's arrival at Villa Lombardi's for the Suffolk County Democratic Committee dinner.
